What is the best Brake pad to use.....

I have a 2003 Grand Am SE1 and would like to know what would be the best brake pad to use on it without breaking the bank account.

I have over 87,000 miles on it and the rotors look ok still, but I can't afford to have a complete brake job on it right now.

Any suggestions and mechanical advice would be welcomed!

use ceramics...

I would also suggest using GM ceramic pads; harder on the rotors, but great wear and longevity.

Aftermarket are not as good as the GM ones, in my experience.
