Best for Fuel efficiency, Best for power, Best for reliability. I hear you could put a 3 or 4 cylinder turbo diesel to get great MPG. A Chevy 350 is best for power. And a jeeps 4.0L straight 6 is best for reliability. What are you thoughts?
I know of no one that has put a Jeep straight 6 in a Fiero. If you do, could you point them out please.
Fuel efficiency: a small 4 cylinder such as a 1.8L
Power: Chevy 502 big block. It will fit with some sheet metal work. Not sure how long the tranny will last tho.
Reliability: any properly maintained/nonabused engine
I think it just depends on what you're looking for. For power lots of people put a 3800 Supercharged engine in their fiero. It's also suppose to get good gas mileage. Although it does take ALOT of work. They can be tricky to do right.
