What is the purpose of the two "lumps on the back of the Pontiac Solstice?...

...They're behind the seats.? I don't know what year Solstice I was seeing, but it just seemed odd, and made me wonder if there's a purpose for those lumps or if they're just for looks.

Obviously, I'm not a car person, so please don't automatically be aggravated with me for asking.

pretty sure it's just for looks. Personally sence I own one i think it
looks VERY COOL.
