What is this illumination part?

I'm finishing up a restoration on my 1981 Trans Am 5.0. While putting the interior back together I found this clear a piece of plastic I can't remember where it went. It was in the dash instrument panel area. I will post a picture of it does anyone know what this plastic luminates? Thx Fred

I believe it goes to the wiper switch to the cluster assembly
