What is this part called? I had a new engine put in a couple of months ago and smelled antifreeze from the get go. I didn't pay it much attention because I never saw any on the ground. I just thought maybe some was spilled during engine installment. Now it's on the ground. Not bad. Car hasn't overheated. Reservoir is still full. I felt around all the hoses, no leaks. Don't think it's water pump because it's lower down in engine than what this is. I found this part covered in coolant when I felt it. It's under this cover plate behind the main engine block near the top. It's fist sized. MISSING A BOLT!! Has to be the culprit. Please help. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_WLxNSZM0Mc

cannt actually see what you are talking about on youtube. Why dont you either take it back to the guy who did the work or if you just want to ask an autoparts store drive it to the store and Im sure someone will come out and look at it for you.

It looks like the exhaust headre under a heat shield. I would go back to the person that did the engine swap. These motors got a bad rap early on. The newer ones are better.
