I know parts shouldn't just "fall off" your car, but I believe that's what happened today with my sons 1998 Sunfire.
I was driving down the street when a heard a clang and some rattling. Looking in my review mirror I see something bouncing on the road behind me. I'm sure that it wasn't on the road before I passed, so I can only assume it fell off the car. I stopped and picked up the part... It's a bracket or brace of some kind, but I can't find anywhere on the car that it would go.
Does anyone recognize this part? Any idea where it came from? Pen is for scale.
