Grand AM GT? I have a 1998 Pontiac Grand AM GT, & I need to change the oil. However I don't know what kind of oil goes in my car..can someone please help me out?

You didn't state the mileage of your car, but I've had really good luck with Valvo-lyn, hi-milage, 5w30w oil!

5 w 30 any brand but stay away from didscounters oil

If the car has more than 60000 mi I would suggest using a 10w30 instead of the light weight 5w30 oils they tend to be too light for normal everyday use a 10w30 will allow more protection from extended use and short trip intervels that make oils brake down , also like said use a good quality oil like Mobil Castrol or others ..
