What oil should I use for my 2006 Pontiac Solstice?

I just recently bought a Solstice and it is due for an oil change. I like to do it myself. A buddy told me that the Solstice uses synthetic oil, but I could not find that anywhere in the owner's manual. Can someone who knows let me know whether or not this car requires synthetic oil? thanks.

I don't know if it is required but I always use synthetic in every vehicle I own. The filler cap on my Solstice has a Mobile one logo on it and that is a a synthetic oil.

you make no mention of year or which engine, go by what it says on the filler cap, if it says Mobil 1 use synthetic, if not, use what ever you feel but I would use synthetic.

The Turbo's require synthetic oil, but the N/A's like yours do not, but I would run synthetic 5W30 in it.
