What should i do to my car ('99 Pontiac grand am) to look better and perform better

on the streets? I have a pontiac grand am that have 138000 miles on it and im going to be using it for the next couple years and i need help with what i should have done so it will perform better and look better while im driving it.

Is the Cat Back system a Borla exclusive product? With my 2001 Pontiac G.A. with 129,xxx miles on it would it be worth it to put some money in it to increase its performance? Even if I have to replace a transmission one day?
