What should I get a 2002 Pontiac Grand AM coupe (sporty) or 2006 Chevy...

...Cobalt Sedan(more reliable)? The Grand AM is more sporty for a 17 year old like me. I am a fairly good driver so I don't expect more exterior problems. The 2006 Chevy Cobalt sedan is more of a older person type of car but it is also more reliable...I'm just not sure what instinct to go with

To be honest, according to Consumer Reports, Pontiac and Chevy's usually suck. Like really suck as far as reliability and exterior/body integrity, safety rating, mpg...etc. If you are looking for reliabality and a car that will last you to 200,000 miles easily with great MPG and safety ratings go with a honda or toyota. they are out of most kids' budget, but they are good cars.

Oh, and if you are buying used (which I am assuming, 2006) go to www.kbb.com to see what the car is ACTUALLY worth, not just what the dealer wants you to believe it's worth.

But if you insist on a pontiac or chevy, get the cobalt. It gets better mpg and is better quality.

well id rather go with the cobalt it would be much more reliable and easier , cheaper to maintain

These ^^^ are lies, pay no attention to this Import Fanboi.

The Cobalt is FAR from an old person's car, and the GA can be had with a 6, so I would think that's where your decision should be.
