grand am se? Hey guys, my car was hit and I got an estimate of 2900 to fix it so instead I just bought a new car, the car was hit on the driver side front bumper, he hit it at an angle so the damage is significant since the bumper and hood would need to be replaced and probably other stuff too. up until then the only problem i had with it was power windows, the window regulators went out so the power windows no longer work, the vehicle has under 90,000 miles (around 89524) and im curious what my best course of action would be, its still somewhat driveable but im just curious if it would be best to sell parts off it or possibly if a dealer might offer me something, I don't want to go forward just yet just because i need to get a replacement title before i sell it, thanks for any help you can give
also i forgot to mention this but i just wanted to get a 1000 dollars for this

if you got another car like it, use parts off of it. if the uni body wasnt hurt, try to fix it and sell it.

Put an ad in the paper advertising a parts car. Somebody needs an engine or transmission or a taillight for a Grand Am somewhere.(hopefully)

I think that since you already getting another car you are not really on a hurry to sell this one, selling a wrecked car is all about timing and place, there are a lot of people who will tell you that there is no point in fixing it because it would cost too much, well there are people out there who are always looking to buy wrecked cars because they either know how to fix it them selves or they know someone who will for a cheap price, so to them is always easy. I also don't think a dealer would be interested on it at all and selling it for parts would probably take a lot of you time , not considering that you may have to take it apart for the buyer. If you are interested on selling it , i would use Craiglist or any other local free publication. I hope this helps.
