What will happen to the Pontiac G8?

It seems that GM would be utterly stupid to kill that car. It's got it all- looks, power, performance, and practicality. Are there plans to preserve it under a new brand? I think it would make a great reincarnation of the Impala or Caprice!

no they will not preserve it, the issue is it was a pontiac and a lot of people didn't catch on with pontiac. So due to that the G8 suffered an unnecessary death.
