what's up with my 2005 pontiac grand am ?

when i turn my key it made a clicking noise and wouldn't start up. I waited an hour later and tried it again. it started up but it was a weak start up like it hesitated a bit. does my battery need to be replaced even though i've only had the car since Dec. '08 and it came with the stock battery when i bought from Carmax with the Maxcare warranty?

You need to charge your battery you might of left a light on or something dumb like that. If you charge it up and it still wont stay charged you probally have a bad cell in the battery. It probally has a bad battery because they only last 5 years anyway, so your almost due for a new one. Make sure alternator is working good and no lights are left on. I bet it just need a new battery. Jump it and bring to a parts store they usually have testers to check all the charging system components, I have one of these testers.
