I just bought a 64 Catalina. It's a base model and I will keep it mostly stock but it has tiny 14" rims and tires. What's the largest wheel tire combo I can use without mods. Not going 24s or anything crazy like that. 15-18s and wider tires.

Hey guys, I have a similar question like Gene. I have 15" steel wheels with the wire wheel covers on my 86 pontiac parisienne. I'd like to put on some new steel wheels as big and wide as possible. Does anyone knows what would fit without modifications? Also I'd like to keep the fender skirts. Also dies anyone knows what offset the oem 15" steel wheel got? Thanks for feedback.

Greetings from Berlin

Look at tirerack.com under the 1986 Chevrolet Caprice to see what size wheels and tires will fit.

You looked at the Caprice?
It worked for me.

Just a bit of caution when using Caprice for a search, double check the wheel bolt pattern, most of the Pontiac full size cars used 5X5" bolt pattern, most Chevy's used 5X4 3/4" bolt pattern.

I am not sure what bolt pattern your 86 Parisienne has. Just a caution as you do want the wheels you order to fit on the lug studs.

Good Luck
