where is the O2 censer on my 2000 firebird?

and can you fix it yourself. I was told i can take it out and brush the grooves out and it might work.
 
It's somewhere in the exhaust system either before,after the catalytic converter or one in each side.Look for what looks like a spark plug with wires coming out of it.One thing.MAKE SURE YOU USE PLENTY OF PB BLASTER on the part of the 02 sensor that screws into the exhaust system before trying to remove it of it might snap off and then you will have to buy a brand new one.
 
Chances are if you need to take it out you will need a new one they do not "clean up" like old spark plugs sometimes do ...
