Which one do you think is better? Im looking for like 2007-2009 models.

The Pontiac is kind of a funky, odd-ball car. It would be harder to sell if you ever need to get rid of it, since the Pontiac brand had been discontinued. Where I live, only old people buy those cars, if that matters. The safer bet would be the Chevrolet. They look much better, too, and won't scare your neighbors.

Gabriella ??,

I would suggest taking both vehicles for a test drive and seeing which you prefer from that. We have a website setup to find used vehicles under our Certified Used Vehicle program. The website is www.gmcertified.com. This will allow you to select the body style as well as your price range. Hope this information helps.

Torrent or Equinox

They are both junks..I've been in this business for 32 years and I have never seen or worked on such terribly made vehicles...and GM doesn't help you out at all...They won't fess up to anything...Don't do it..Ford has come a long way...

Disagree with "junks".

I bought a new Cadillac DTS in 06 and a new Torrent with the old tech 3.4 V6 in 2007. Sold the Caddy last year and kept the Torrent. Now has 60K miles. I had the loud valve train repaired under warranty, but other than that, and an airbag sensor that I need to get replaced, I have had little or no trouble. I WAS disturbed to find that the 3.4 V6 that GM has made forever was actually assembled in China. THAT was news.

Oh, the hatch BACK leaked water and they fixed it the first time. I average 21 MPG since new, driving mostly in town. I have found it to be a lot of vehicle for what little I paid for it, with tremendous rear legroom for my tall boys. I also have lots of life left on the original brakes. Maybe I am just having good luck.

I will say that both my sisters bought new Hyundai's, Sante Fe's, I think. Same size as Torrent with 6K more in options for an additional 2K. I never thought I would consider a Hyundai but the Genesis and Santa Fe are looking good to me.
