The motor that i'm putting into my pontiac firebird, which is currently a 3800 V6, i was woundering if the carb'd motor would bolt up? What would i have to do to make it fit right? Any body mods? Any help would be cool. Thanks:confused:

357? No car company made a 357 CID engine factory.

GM has 3 bolt patterns.

BOP, Buick Olds Pontiac and Cadillac
Chevy
FWD (and 60 degree V6)

I am not sure what trans bell is in the 3800 RWD, but Thrasher Engineering should be able to help, they do a lot of 3800 work.

As for bolting up other engines, you'd likely need a adapter plate. Most of the big names in transmissions have them. But don't expect that trans to live if the engine is high hp and the car is run hard.
