Will a rear hood (without slots/louvers) from an 85 fit my 84

I just Bought a project car, and of course, I have no idea what i must have gotten myself into. this 84 fiero has been unregistered since '03 and has some issues. Doesn't run yet, for one... my Question is, If i put a trunk lid from a 85 gt on my 84, will the lack of slots for airflow going to be a problem? If i do this, how can i fix the problem? I appreciate any constructive assistance from people in "the know".

Moving the decklid from a 1985 to a 1984 can be done easily. (Note: all body panels from 1984 thru 1988 are interchangeable) For ventilation you need to move over the side panels as well. The 1985 side panels are the vents and the 1984 are solid. For proper cooling you need to use the same year decklid with the side panels.
