Will a sway bar from a 1979 Camaro fit a 1979 Trans...

...Am?? I need to know if the part number is the same (aftermarket) or just if it will fit. I know alot of the parts are interchangeable, but i'm not sure if this is one of them.

Well, the rear axles are certainly the same. Most Camaros didn't have rear sway bars, and Trans Ams all do, so usually the swap is the other way. But certainly anything for the rear suspension will fit either car, so it should work.

Not true, if its a z28 camaro then all the running gear is exactly the same. Z28 is same as trans am, berlinetta same as formula and base camaro is same as firebird...
