Will it interchange

I have an 04 grand am gt. The right cv axel broke a couple days ago and I was curious if the cv axel from an 06 G6 would interchange because there is one ready available at no charge of it works

If its a Cardone # 661243 it will fit ....other brands have a different part number for both.
