Windshield washer problem :(

I had to buy a gallon of windshield washer fluid to fill the reservoir -- which took nearly all of it.

Later, when I tested to see if it worked ok, no fluid shot out over the windshield. When I got out of the car I saw fluid running on the ground.

Crap! What would cause that to happen?

Could be several things... leaky seal at the pump, broken hose from pump to wiper arms, or a puncture in the reservoir itself.

One other thing you will want to check, sometimes the spray nozzles get clogged with wax. You have a leak in your system somewhere from the tank to the nozzles as MSmith said, once you've found and fixed that, clean the nozzles and you should be a happy camper again!
