? would ether of them work fine with a small block 400 engine also ?
would a GM 700-R4 or 4L60 transmission fit into an 85 firebird formula

The 700r4 is the stock trans for the 3rd gen cars the 4l60 is a newer trans that is computer controled and will not work in that old of a car the 400 engine would be a bit too strong for most 700 series transmissions I would suggest a TH-400-TH-350 instead they are much stronger than a 700R4
