the engine will bolt up to your transmission, but you will still need motor mount stands, pontiac starter, all the brackets for the pontiac motor, and use the pontiac flexplate. i only have one question regarding this swap.........why? why not find yourself a good buick 455 to go into this car? plenty of power and it keeps the confusion down.
it should drop right in. the only trouble you might have is the tranny cross member and i doubt it that you will have any trouble there either. buick, olds. and pontiac is the same as far as trannys concerned, chevys are different. i would say as long as the mounts hook up, it should be smooth sailing.
Should bolt right up to the transmission. Motor mounts, may be another story. Back in those days Buick had their own engines, Pontiac had theirs, etc. Should be an adaptor kit out there, if needed. Maybe someone like J.C. Whitney, Jegs.
