wrecked 2001 sunfire 2.2

I have an 01 Sunfire that was rolled. It still runs well..but crushed roof
What I would like to do is find another car that my 2.2 will fit in. I know another Sunfire..but would like to know what other models/makes would accept my engine (and tranny).
Can I fit my 2.2 into a model with a 3.4?
What years would be a simple swap.ie: sunfire cavalier grand am etc...

Hate to just see the car just sit there and rust away with a good motor and tranny

well as you know the sunfire/cavalier swap would be straightforward but you need the ecm and wireharness and sensors from you car to go along with the engine. Once you get into other cars that might have come with a 2.2 as a base engine you will start getting into motor and trani mounts. For year compatiblity go to a site like www.gmpartsdirect.com and see if the same mounts were used over what range of years.
