I saw an article today by Bob Hovarka, about the X-400 Pontiac coupe that Joe Bortz bought from Jim Jeffords. I was actually looking online for the XP-400, a red Bonneville convertible with a supercharged engine and chicken wire headlight guards over European Cibie headlights. Maybe that's a different car because the X-400 was a coupe. I had heard the XP-400 was found and is being restored.
At any rated, does anybody know what Chicagoan Jim Jeffords (used to race the Corvette SR2) sold the X-400 for? I think because it looked pretty stock it might not have been recognized as a concept car, at least not like the later convertible.
