1998 WS9 formula transam

Could anyone tell me how many Bright red 1998 trans am formula were made,
or at least how to find out. Thanks its vin number comes up as a firebird formula/trans am

Did you mean WS6? According to this site

There were a total of 511 Coupe's and 294 Conv T/A's and 53 coupe, and 2 Conv Formulas Made. That is with the WS6 package and in Bright Red.

WS9 is the Formula conversion Pkg
W66 is the Formula Merchandise Pkg
Y82 is the Trans Am Merchandise Pkg
All the V8 cars carry the WS9 Code, To be a Formula or Trans Am it must have the coresponding code aswell.
WS9 + W66 = Formula
WS9 + Y82 = Trans Am
WS9 + W66 + WS6 = Formula WS6
WS9 + Y82 + WS6 = Trans Am WS6
