I'm going to be installing power seats that are from a GTO, no idea what year. I just received a power seat relay from a vendor, but it did not come with wire hook up diagram, and the relay is not stamped for installation of wires. Is there a diagram available showing where the wires are installed on the relay? I looked in the 72 chassis manual, but didn't see one there. Any idea where to look? Many thanks, John

In the 71 Chassis Manual Section 12 around page 12-32 they show A and G Series Power Accessories Schematics, you dont have those diagrams in the 72 book?

Checked the 72 chassis manual again and found only a small diagram showing hot lead going through a fuse and into the fuse block.
I was told that the power seats in all pontiacs ran through a relay. I bought the relay.....the relay has 6 prongs and no markings. Ugh!! Cannot
Find a diagram of where to hook up wires,

what is title of the page you found? Is it A and G Series Power Accessories Schematics? Did you ask the vendor who sold the relay to you how to wire it?

Good thought. I'll call the vendor tomorrow. You would think there would be a pretty straight forward diagram showing relay and wires somewhere. Oh well!!

I called the vendor that I purchased the seat relay from (OPGI, they say they have no knowledge of relay installation and no one on their staff can help. UGH,,
I found the diagram again in the 72 chassis manual. It is in chapter 15.....figure 15-95. Some one must know where to find the information. I'm hoping someone
Reading this can come to the rescue.
