ISO 68 -9 Catalina original starter

In need of delco - remy starter for th big block in my 69 catalina
Mechanic said it will have # stamped in case that start off with 1108 then if next 3 digits are 333 / 392 / 348 , those will work
The motors lead wire from solenoid gets to it via a notch from end of case as opposed to havin a hole drilled though it . any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated

Dont believe I have as experience has determined they left out a key ingredient in their manufacturing
QUALITY
realy want what th engineers designed for it as original one lasted for so long.....next time it gives anyone trouble , wont b me
