Hey Everyone.
New to the group, long time Pontiac guy. I just acquired a 1976 Forumla 400 4sp. 7900 documented miles. Car was on barnfinds last year and just came up for sale again so I bought it.
I am in the process of refreshing fuel system as no idea how old the fuel is but it does not look pretty. Tank has a good bit of scale to replacing everything from the carb back for a clean start.
My question....Any recommendations on where to source a tank assembly that is complete and won't need a bunch of retrofits or finagling?
Tanks are available but Rock Auto was the only site that seemed to have a complete assembly.
SPECTRA PREMIUM GM203FI
Any experiences (good or bad) to share? Rather buy a complete turn key unit rather than sourcing different parts and pieces.
Thanks in advance, look forward to being part of this grou.

That number GM203FI is a Quanta gas tank number. I have used them for a 69 Corvette and they are a great source for tanks, exactly as original. Problem is you picked a number for a Fuel Injection conversion. You need tank GM203, see link below. I would buy the matching sender also, there are two types depending on number of lines.

Thank you, appreciate the post and the info, I will check it out.
