I need to buy a drivers side door but can't seem to determine which model I have. The drivers side door says Model: LG26.
VIN lookup at vindecoderz.com shows Model Code: L,2LG26.

Cannot find nothing related to Base, LS or LT. When I try to buy a door people want the trim type.

btw - it is an AWD version.

who are you trying to buy the door from.
this link says there were not trim levels other than FWD or AWD.
Try car-parts.com , the listings say nothing about trim.

Ebay. Any listing if I select LS or LT, anything other than Base it says it does not fit for the listing. I think it is probably wrong. The door in all the listings I checked look identical to what I have.

Do you know if just Base was FWD? With LS or LT both AWD?

That settles it. Thx.

The confusion came from anytime I have to look up or go to a parts store I get asked about LS, LT or GXP. I just tell them 2007 AWD model. It seems to be just a mistake everyone makes since the Equinox is almost identical.

I found more on decoding the VIN.

For a 2007, 5-6 digit is for line chassis series. On mine it shows L7 which according to the VIN card is simply just an AWD Torrent. L6 would be the FWD.

People wrongly asked if it is a GXP but GXP did not come out until 2008 model. L7 on a 2008 vin card for Pontiac is a GXP.

An L7 for an Equinox that year would make it an LT. Looks like an Equinox LT door should match.
