I have owned my car for many years. I think I bought it in 08. It has 226,000 miles on it, I have replaced numerous parts on it. I recently started having an issue where my car (for lack of a better description) sounds like a pod racer while driving, also it has started making an almost slow helicopter sound while decelerating. And sometimes while shifting a clunk sound and vibration from the clutch/transmission area. Any thoughts on what I need to do? And, is it something I can do on my own?

No idea what a pod racer sounds like. Have you examined the exhaust system from engine to tailpipe?
You also should check for broken engine or transmission mounts for the clunk.

Would a broken motor mount make it vibrate as well as clunk? I noticed that today, especially during acceleration.

Yes, a broken mount can cause vibration

I've been doing my research, which mount do I replace? The one under my coolant reservoir, the power torque mount that is kind of by the front passenger tire, or is there another one? I bought the mount for under the coolant reservoir.

The one that has failed or all of them. Typically three, two engine one transmission.

I drive a standard. The only transmission mount I can find says automatic, I understand the difference, where can I find a mount for a manual?

Try rockauto, napa, Autozone, advance auto, O'Reilly and if necessary used from a salvage yard.

Replaced my mounts, I replaced them hoping a grinding noise around my gear shifter (under the car, not when I shift) would stop. Replacing my mounts seemed to make the sound worse. The noise seems like it sounds like something not rotating right. Thoughts? In any case, thanks so much for your help!

Are you sure it's not from exhaust system?
Have you looked at bushings that attach subframe to frame?
