Grand am front end conversion to alero

Hey, new here and I've been working on a project for my brother but we've ran into a little problem. So in order to do the front end I have to do some wiring harness work cause it got damaged in an accident. The only problem I'm having is the main wiring harness that goes to headlights, foglights, blinkers, horn, etc have a considerably different amount of wires between the two. The grand am has 28 while the alero has 36. I've been searching through wiring diagrams to find differences but can't find any between them.

Are they both the same body style, Coupe or Sedan? Try to find shop manuals for both cars.

Are they both the same body style, Coupe or Sedan? Try to find shop manuals for both cars.

Both sedan. Same body lines, engine, transmission everything. Just the small visual differences between the two.
