1970 heater control

just bought a 70 lemans sport and the heater control is in the off position and won't move, before I break something has anyone had this problem? what you do to fix it so it worked again?

You have an upper level selects AC, , Blend, etc.
The bottom one is temperature.
If the problem is the lower one check the cable going to the heater door

problem is top one going for heat or defrost, disconnected the cable and the lever is frozen trying to see why

I see the front speaker has been removed and wonder if they dropped something in the control, the cable and the lever at the heater box move fine its just the top control lever that's jammed

Sounds like you will have to remove the control assembly
