Hi all, new guy on the block. I just purchased a true basket case 71 Le Mans. It is fully taken apart...every bolt, wire, and tube. The previous owner lost interest, but has kept from what I can tell, every part....we will see in the future.
about 30 years ago I bought a 71 LeMans Sport when I lived in westside Tulsa. I pulled the body off and had the frame carbo-zinked...a primer process that is used in off shore oil rigs...Poly bushings in suspension. Bought a wrecked 71 Grand Prix for the H.O. 455, 400 turbo trans with Trans Go shift kit. It had a vinyl top and the nasty pea green paint with matching interior. Due to an unfaithful wife, I had to sell in the divorce. 30 years later, here I go again. Any and all comments are appreciated. Thanks for having me! pictures soon!
