Hello. My son got into a fender bender with Pontiac Wave 2007. Front bumper reinforcement bar bent bad. I want to know if the Chevy spark bumper reinforcement bar will fit. I found a nice one. Thank you.

I assume this is a Canadian car?
I see no mention of the two cars being related, try a Canadian GM dealer that can look up the part numbers.

Yes they are a Canadian version of a Chevy Aveo not a Spark, but I have no Idea if the under bumper supports are the same as the Chevy year to Year. If I were to bet on it I would say they are, but as the Wave uses a different Facia, it may differ.

So in the US it would be a Pontiac G3, I suspect those parts would be the same, but they only sold that model in the 2009 Model year, and as that was the official last model year for Pontiac ( I know they badged some G6's as 2010's and also a few Solstice's) they were very few sold in the US. But they may be available used from salvage yards.

Good luck

Sorry I am not a Canadian Pontiac expert.

Thank you. I'm thinking of getting the Spark rebar anyways. The only thing that I figure might not match is where the bolt holes are. I'll just get it welded on.

So going to a GM dealer and asking the parts department to look it up is no go?

I will. But cold an uninterested reaction the last time I went there. Do not trust them. They are more interested in selling you their expensive parts.
