I heard there are mounting tools , I would like 5.25 inch speakers, DO I HAVE TO DO DRILLING AND CUTTING? or are there mounting tools? they currently hold 4x6 and I need to customize it to fit 5.25 inch... What do I do?
2004 Pontiac sunfire holds only 4x6 door panel speakers, how do I get 5.25 inch?

Metra Electronics makes an adapter that does this to place speaker in the OEM holes... http://www.metraonline.com/part/82-3300 but I don't know if you are going to need to modify your car's door panel at all.

Check out Metra Electronics, they have an adapter kit that will allow for a 5.25 inch or 6.5 inch speaker to be placed the factory front doors.
I don't know if the door panels will have to be modified for the speakers to fit right. Honestly it looks like it just adds a mounting point and it sits behind the original factory covers.
