I am a 15 year old and looking for a pretty cool car to drive around the neighborhood that is still affordable. I dont have a job but will hopefully be getting one soon. Is a 1998 Pontiac Firebird trans am with a v8, 5.7L engine good?

Well not so affordable if you look at Gas prices.
For some of us older guyz, its not about that, it's all about enjoying what you drive.

15 and cruisin' in a T/A. You will have the time of your life if you like the car (as R_T_71 mentioned about liking what you drive). Have you taken one for a test drive? But first, what is the driving age in your state? You'ld be waiting another year in my state of MA. And this baby will cost ya (fuel, performance tires, insurance). But if you get a good job, can pay the operating costs and take care of it, should be a great time for you. Will attract lots of attention for sure. Good luck.
