I have a 2001 Pontiac Sunfire 147k manual tranmission, low oil pressure light comes after drving for about 10-15 mins or when the oil temp get above 195. The light only comes on when I drive really slow or idling. Also i've noticed when I don't apply much pressure to the accelorator the engine makes a noise or at the very low low end of each gear I hear the noise. What could be wrong?

how many miles since you last changed the oil? what viscosity oil are you using? You either have worn bearings or a bad sensor but the fact that you have a noise, can you describe it?, would favor the bearings.

Not sure when last oil change was done or what viscosity is in there now. The noise sounds sort of like the wheel a fortune wheel, and I only hear it when the accelorator is barely being touched once I apply more pressure the noise is gone.

I just founf the youtube clip the noise sounds very similiar to this but it doesn't do it when its idling only during the low end of acceleration.

I just got the car so I'm not sure when the last oil change was or what viscosity is in there now. The noise sounds like "The Wheel of Fortune" wheel.

I was able to find a youtube clip, the noise is very similiar but it doesn't happen when its idling like in the clip only when light pressure is applied to the accelorator while the car is in moition.
