On the passanger side, the light was out. i replaced the bulb, and the parking/brake light works, but the turn signal wont work. all of my other turn signals work fine except for the front passanger signal that just blinks really fast like the arrow on my dash. Please help! I keep getting honked at when i turn because I dont have a working turn signal!

im new @ cars but im studying electronics as a profession right now
(just my 1st year ><)
but i believe its the wiring components from your turn signal handle thingi
(where you pull down and up to signal left and right xP)
soo go to your mechanic and it'll probably cost like $80-100 with labour and components
but i could be wrong xD

sry if it didnt help much im just new @ car stuff and electronics :(
but @least i tried my best XD

goodluck to you!!! hope you dont get honk often!! xP

Please don't just run out and throw money at the car, assuming is expensive. First you need to check the connection from the harness to the tail-light housing, then check the connection in the housing at the bulb. Look for a white powdery looking substance, this is corrosion. It will need to be cleaned off and then apply some di-electric grease to the connections and see if this helps. Let us know if this has helped!

i agree with corey. I have had problems with my sunfire where even a new bulb at the rear causes the same problems. I have found that the existing compound that is used to hold the bulb in place is not the greatest and needs to be completely cleaned before a new bulb is put in. an issue i found is that when the old compound is cleaned, the new bulb does not stay in properly. Some silicone applied when the new bulb is installed and let dry for a bit will correct it. Not the best solution but works for me.
