99 Grand Am A/C problem?

Hi there..for quite a while now I've had problems with my fac for ac/heat. When I turn it to "1" or "2", I can hear the click like it turned on, but nothing blows out. When I turn it to "3", whether its on a/c or heat, it turns on to the "3" setting. "4" and "5" work perfect as well. It has to be something with the fan, but non of my car-savy guys know whats wrong.. Any suggestions?

I have the exact same problem, but is going to be hard to find help in this forums. It seems that nobody wants to help out. Alot of people have been complaining about no replys. I had this problem with my integra aswell. It was the resistor on the blower unit. Now I have to solve grand am fan settings.

Yeah you're telling me. I hate to bring it in and get screwed out of a couple hundred for something that can be easily fixed.
