1998 Sunfire GT

Just bought one yesterday, the sunroof doesn't want to open. I can hear the motor running, sounds week, but it doesn't open. Any idea how much it will cost to fix? What may be wrong?

Also, the (!)(P) and ABS lights are on, solid. Brakes seem to work fine, any reason why they might be on and how to turn them off?

Will either light being on affect the Ontario Safety Test?

Please advise.

cannt answer the sunroof question but the lights being on could be a sensor problem. I'm not from Canada but I know any state side safety inspection would fail the car.

Went in for the e-test and safety yesterday, car passed both without a single issue. Mechanic didn't say anything about either light being on. Everything worked.


Now I just have to get the sunroof fixed for the summer.
