whats the easy way to change air filter in a 2004 pontiac montana?

get a repair manual...chilton's and haynes make decent ones.

+1 on Johnny5's comment. If you are interested in doing your own maintenance, a shop manual is a must to save time and money.
 
nice find as you can tell from the video the "professional" had a hard time changing it . In my experiences it is a pain to get it back together especially the bottom two latches. O well I would rather do it my self than pay someone.

but still a pain in the arse. lol My 99 required some cursing to get it changed. Took me a while but I got it changed. I practically destroyed the old one getting it wout and the new one almost was also.

Pontiac Montana 2004 Air filter

36 year old lady here who likes to figure things out for herself :) I found this was by far the most effective and easiest way to change the filter whereby I didn't feel like I was going to break something around the housing or the housing itself. Had to search through a lot of posts from Internet searches to find it too. Love that it not only describes how to do it but includes pictures. Way to go k&n!!
