i plan on pulling my motor out real soon and i just need some help.....i was wondering what i had to take off to do this project i got the hood off and all that but just need some help. I have been look all over the internet to find some info but struck out, any advice will help!!!!!!thanks!!

hopefully this is helpful, I just seen this post now and actually had to replace my engine a little while ago. take off the a/c compressor, alternator, starter and pretty much anything that is easy to get too. as for body pieces, all you need to take off is the hood. you can just disconnect the engine from the tranny and with a little wiggling around, you can pull the engine right out the top. its actually really easy, but if you need any help, I will keep an eye on this post.

to make it even easier, i would pull the rad and rad cradle, and pull the motor and trans straight out the front. sometimes you have to get the angle right to get it to come out the top without fender damage. a little extra disassembly will make it a lot easier to pull the motor

I left the rad in there, just disassembled as much as I could, and disconnected it from the trans. also take out the coolant tank and it comes right out with out much problem.

Also, make sure you label the wires! My first engine swap didn't go so well because I made that problem.
