If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... I have a 2002 grand prix and the car starts and idles perfect. If you put in drive and slowly accelerate it will drive fine as soon as you step on the gas pedal it will bog down like it is starving for fuel and spit and sputter. It never gave me any kind of warning just started doing it.

how many miles since you changed the fuel filter?

Then that would be good place to start and check your air filter while your at it.

***CLOGGED CAT***
I had the same sorta thing with my 2003 grand prix gt nothing for power seemed like a tranny issue could only drive it very slowly increasing speed, it would spit/sputter/bog when getting on the gas and shifting issues into next gear etc even if I tryed going from 1/2/drive with shifter same from stop or on the fly. I could ham down on the gas and it would seem like it was in neteral at times and sound like it would hit the rev limiter sorta thing.

*Issue turned out to be clogged cat, shop did a temp test on the pipe seemed way too hot, also code reader gave back mis fire codes and exhaust codes test pipe seems ok, new cat and it was back to full power*
