Window Motor Replacement

I am trying to replace my passenger side window motor on my 1996 Pontiac Sunfire SE. So far I've unbolted the regulator from the door glass and was able to shove the glass up so I could tape it to the door frame. I unbolted the regulator from the door, I got a drill with a bit and was attempting to drill out the rivets holding the motor in. I drilled out the center of the rivets, but I'm still not able to get the rivets out.

Any suggestions?
 
Use a larger bit so the head breaks off with the use of a screwdriver.
 
I just did mine. Ther service manual called for a 3/16 bit. So that's what I used. Needed to go bigger though. I still had to use a chisel to break the heads off. My motor came with screws to replace the rivets, but there was no clearance to install them, so I had to buy new rivets. No big deal, just wish they would have come with rivets.

I just came inside from trying to drill out the rivets again. I was drilling one rivet when my drill bit snapped in half so I said screw it and packed up my stuff and went inside. My new motor came with some flat head bolts w/ nuts on the back but they are WAY to small for the holes, don't even know why they included them. But the motor also came with 4 new rivets too.

Btw, when you did yours, did you take out the regulator too or just the motor? And how many rivets did you have to drill out?

Nevermind. I used a Dremel 4000 with a 1 1/2 inch cutting blade to cut right through the heads of the rivets. Then took out the regulator with the motor and used the Dremel to cut off the rivets holding the motor onto the mounting bracket. Now I need to screw the motor onto the mounting bracket, but I forgot how it held together, oops.

EDIT: I got it all put back together. Now all I have left is to put it back into the door, but I don't really want to put rivets back in, I'd much rather put bolts and nuts in the holes instead. But, does anyone know what size bolts I would need?
 
After attaching the motor to the regulator, I tested it out BEFORE putting it back in the door. The motor and regulator seemed to work fine, the regulator went up and down without a problem. I put it back into the door and replaced the stock rivets that held the regulator onto the door with nylon rivets. Then after reattaching the window glass, the regulator had a hard time going up, so I'm thinking the regulator is bad. Any suggestions?

Try cleaning and lubing the window tracks,
