radio won,t turn off

have the radio on turn key off when i
open the door the radio should go off but it doen't any info what could be the promblem thanks
 
check for a stuck door switch, does the interior light come on when you open the door?
 
it's either on the door post or the rear edge of the inner fender

last night the light came on it's a flashing lock it happen to me once last night i try it today open door the radio goes off after four or five times the radio stay on i shut the door hard and when off that weird it got to be something in that driver side door

got it fix took the door panel off the wires that go in the drive side door were broken there were three wires that was seperate put the wires back in place had no trouble yet save my self 200 bucks by going to the dealer

Crazy but true....

This has been a problem with most and most likely all of the G8's. Almost like the older Xbox. If it has not happened yet, it will.

With that siad, I have spent several hundreds of dollars over this issue and I am an Electrical Engineer so my fix does make some sense but I am still puzzled.

Changed the Battery and works perfect. Anyone else tried this or heard of this as of yet?
 
Can't speak about a G8, but I had that problem with my GA, and I fixed it by lubing the door latch. The dome light switch is integrated into it on late model Grand Am's.
 
guys i tell you the promblem when your door shut there a bunch of wires that go in the door they split and crack and seperate my radio will not go off so i took the wires and had a look and the was 4 wires seperated join them together working find no issue this been almost 8 month now
