Hello all I am new to this forum and have finally decided to Paint my car and need some help. The previous owner painted the car with interior paint so when we decided to paint the car we had to sand off every Inch of the old paint. After it was all said and done and we primed the car we noticed that there was a different shade where the support bars for the trunk and hood are, I will try to post a pic but I'm on my phone now. Oh and my boss is a bOdy man and said it was from the temp changing and the paint dried faster in some spots. Is there any tips for fixing this next time we prme it?

did you use heat lamps after appyling the primer? No disrespect but if your boss is a "body" man how come he has no suggestions?

He said to paint in the middle of the day when the temp is stable, sorry forgot to mention that lol, we painted just as the sun was setting so we are thinking it was a temp change but wanted some more advice

That is caused by too quick of a temperature change. The top layer of the hood changed temps faster than the bottom layer of the hood.

You need to paint the car where the temp does not change by anymore than 5* over around 6 hours.
