Helping a friend replace the control arms since the bushing were shot. However every set of control arm are to wide and wont fit. I bought a set from advance, oriellys, and another auto part store. I tried the cheap set and expensive set but they are all bigger than what came off. Anyone else have this problem?

does sound strange ,at some point gm made a body change to the mini van and I think it was in mid year for the Montana not sure if it was 05 ? Try this web site below and it will give you the correct part# and maybe you can cross-reference it. Also theses prices aren't to bad. Also you are able to look up your van with the VIN # ,which is important.

I had to go to the dealership and get them. They all fit now. This van is a PITA
