Any opinions about putting 2 4 bbl carbs around 650 CFM each on 350 engine sitting in 68 lemans. I currently have a single 2 bbl carb in car. Thanks . . . JIMB

You're wasting your time and money if everything else is stock. Here's a link for proper carb sizing: http://www.4secondsflat.com/Carb_CFM_Calculator.html

Essentially, the VE number is how well your engine can flow air through it. A typical stock engine will get between 80-85. Headers, performance cams, ported heads, etc, will get you closer to 100.

Sounds like a great way to waste time and money. A 68 LeMans with a 2 bbl would have a 2 speed automatic and possbily a rear gear ratio of 2:78. You would step on the gas pedal and the car would just die. Get a good 4bbl intake, Edelbrock, and either a Quadrajet or a small Holley, 600 CFM.
