Defrost does not work

Last night on my way home my windows began to frost up. This worried me since I justhad my heater core replaced last spring. When I switched the heat to my vents the air came out hot. I limped it home and checked and I do not have any air coming out of my defrost under windshield. All other settings work: floor, vents, and combination of vents just not my defrost. What do I need to replace? Thank-You in advance for any help.

there is a problem with the blend door or blend door actuator you may want to go back to the shop that replaced the core and see if they perhaps did something related to the issue

If you lay on the floor mats and look up under the dash you can see the linkage working the blend doors when you turn the selector knob. maybe they knocked one loose or didn't reconnect it.

I will try looking under the dash tonight to see if I can see whats going on. Thanks for the quick replies.

If you are not able to get this issue resolved on your own I would also recommend that you take your vehicle into your dealer and have them look into this for you.
